You can use dolyak signet to prevent most of the knockdowns, works well.

yeah griffons is a pretty good spot to farm when first starting out. It gives a lot of rares (warrior griffon boss give occasional keys which you can use on chests you may encounter) and a lot of gold. Downside is that no runes drop. Wish someone would make a 55 monk guide for rune farming that would be nice (since i havent completely finished the game with my 55 monk yet i cant farm titans)

When farming Beetletun with my 55 I use my regular high health armor for the first part, until all the Aracara are dead. Then I change to 55 armor for the Ettins. When they are dead I slip out the back door to zone, then step back in and hit the Ettins again without having to go through Aracara.

How do you prevent their healing (signet) ?

I have trouble farming ettins with my 55 simply because they stop attacking and heal themselves. Maybe I should go Mo/N and make a spiteful 55 instead? SoJ just doesn't seem to work...

^use that build. the only requirement would be that your 55 monk would need a sword (20% as stated would be best for this farm).

--edit--
I would also like to state that ill be slowly progressing on that farming thread i was talking about earlier. Since im still noob (compared to the likes of cerb, sno, etc) i may leave out some higher level farming areas (but will still add in info about it..hopefully). Expect it to be out in 1-2 weeks (homework is pileing up)

WHoa whoa whoa whoa whoa.

I can take on 6 NO PROBLEM .... first of all NO arcane echo.

Just SoJ owns them alone, all you do is wait for KD's, I did it 105 hp on my monk. It's not hard AT ALL. The first spell they use it meteor, so just wait for it to get casted then SoJ and watch em DROP, they go down fast.

Kaze already did. It's called "the important posts post" or something like that. It's stickied at the top of the page.

Hydras are no problem, the main problem is rounding them all up :P

also i tend to make the most money farming hydra's :P just clear all them and the few griffons there then sell all the stuff and have about 5-7k in 20-30mins

thank you nova, however, like I said earlier, Kaze already compiled a whole list of current farming guides, pve builds, etc. in his "important posts" post thread (stickied). As for 55 questions, I've stickied killjoy's post. Any further questions on 55 farming should go there.
